Diane Bowers, President

Diane, head of CASRO since 1979, has been a member of the Board of Advisors of four U.S. graduate programs in marketing research. In 2006 she received the "Research Industry Impact and Prestige Award” from the Master of Marketing Research Program at the School of Business of Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville. Diane is a Past President of the Market Research Council (MRC), the Research Industry Coalition (RIC), and the Council for Marketing and Opinion Research (CMOR).

Meg Collins, Marketing Manager

Meg has worked at CASRO since 2006 and has continually taken on new roles and responsibilities. Meg provides extensive support for marketing and communications, including database management, website updates and graphics work. In addition, she handles production administration for events; mail and e-mail communications management, and coordinates the quarterly State of the Business Survey for ARIA and CASRO.


Abby Devine, Director of Government and Public Affairs

Abby works with CASRO General Counsel Duane Berlin, the association's GPA committee, and the CASRO team to advocate on behalf of CASRO members and the entire U.S. research industry. She also is working on CASRO’s U.S. Safe Harbor program. Abby’s background is in law, legislative and regulatory affairs, and public policy. Prior to joining CASRO, she was an Associate at Berkman, Henoch, Peterson, Peddy & Fenchel, P.C., a New York law firm. Abby earned a bachelor’s degree in international politics and economics from Middlebury College, and received her J.D. from Brooklyn Law School.

Art Flanagan, Vice President, Communications

Art oversees marketing and communications initiatives which promote and support CASRO's various initiatives, including events, member benefits, and industry surveys. Art manages the CASRO website and the association's publications. He has worked in communications for more than two decades. He began his career as a journalist, writing for newspapers and business magazines. Later, he moved into corporate communications. Art served as Director of Marketing at Hostcentric, Inc., a $60-million-dollar web services company, Manager of Communications & Publications at Bennington College in Vermont, and prior to joining CASRO in 2007, was Executive Director of Communications at Dowling College. He is a graduate of Siena College.

Nicole Symelidis, Vice President, Planning

Nicole manages venue-related and logistical aspects of all CASRO events, including conferences, workshops, webinars, and meetings of the Board of Directors and other forums. Her responsibilities include site inspections, contract negotiation, meeting specifications, and on-site coordination. Separately, Nicole is responsible for the internal management of CASRO’s membership, as well as record keeping for the Board of Directors and Past Chairs Council.  Prior to joining CASRO, she served as Administrator at the Council for Marketing & Opinion Research (CMOR). 


Jennifer Ward, Vice President, Membership; Managing Director, CASRO Institute for Research Quality (CIRQ)

As Vice President, Membership, Jennifer grows CASRO’s membership base and develops programs for existing members. As Managing Director, CIRQ (CASRO Institute for Research Quality), she has oversight of all activities related to the operations of this CASRO subsidiary, which provides audit and certification services to ISO standards 20252, 26362, and 27001. Before coming to CASRO, Jennifer was the Director of Member Relations at the American National Standards Institute (ANSI). She began her career working for GenCorp in sales and as Manager of Contract Administration. Jennifer graduated from Bucknell University with a Bachelor of Arts in English and a minor in business.
